President Donald Trump will sign an emergency order directing the Department of Homeland Security to immediately pay Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents.
This comes as Congress continues to battle over a deal to end a budget impasse that has clogged airports and left employees unpaid.

"Because the Democrats have recklessly created a true National Crisis, I am using my authorities under the Law to protect our Great Country," Trump wrote."Therefore, I am going to sign an Order … to immediately pay our TSA Agents in order to address this Emergency Situation."
