We are hearing the latest from Islamabad tonight, as according to the Associated Press, Pakistan's defense minister says that there is now an 'open war' with Afghanistan.
This comes as Afghanistan and Pakistan exchanged significant cross-border fire on Thursday.
According to multiple reports, attacks were seen along their shared border and came after the Taliban said it launched retaliatory strikes on Pakistani military positions.
We have also heard that Islamabad says it was responding to unprovoked fire in the area.
