A Single-Mom Defends Her Daughter from A Road Rage Idiot

We shared this in our Substack Notes, and the first comment hit multiple points spot on…

Fair?

You better believe it!!!

Absolutely, it was fair 👏👏👏.

When you’re in a vehicle & some psycho is threatening the safety of both you & your passenger (child)… All bets are off!!!

You do whatever it takes to stay safe & protect anyone in your vehicle, especially if they clearly say they want to kill you.

Congratulations to Catherine on being acquitted 👍😁.

If the police had been called, it probably would’ve taken them “a while” to get there & by that time, they could’ve been dealing with 2 fatalities in the one car 🫢🫢🫢

Average Response Times

The national average response time for police in a city is 10 minutes, longer in suburban areas, much longer in rural areas (hours even)…

The average response time for someone armed and knowing how to use it properly - less than 20 seconds…

The Liberal Judicial System is Failing Us

The judicial system and many law enforcement agencies are still decades behind in recognizing a justified defensive situation, and, as a result, we have many cases like this nationwide - and yet, not so much in open carry States.

It’s called conditioning…

Both sectors, as well as the general populace, need to relearn why we have a 2A and learn how to manage a gun, even if you never intend on owning a firearm.

Before the 1970s, we used to bring our guns to school for show-and-tell Fridays, and we all learned about handling a firearm.

There was never any chaos, just curiosity.

Now someone brandishes a gun, and everyone is heading for the hills instead of the butt of a pistol.

Why Metro Areas Have So Much Gun Crime

The reason cities like Chicago have so many gun-related problems has more to do with the good people not being able to economically own a gun, while the bad people know where and from whom they can get a gun.

Any gun.

The law-abiding citizens are being penalized by a local judicial system that won’t discipline and hold accountable those who aren’t.

That isn’t gun control; that is like taking a car away from a driver who had a person run out in front of their vehicle unexpectedly.

We can and need to demand better of our judicial system, our politicians, and our lawmakers.
