14 Suspected Cartel Operatives Killed in U.S. Strikes - Venezuela Warned It’s Next

Katarina Szulc discusses the deadly U.S. boat strike in the Pacific Ocean that killed 14 suspected cartel smugglers.

The operation marks a sharp escalation in America’s maritime campaign against drug trafficking - one that started with strikes near Venezuela and is now moving closer to Mexico’s coast.

Our Note

Katrina is VERY good as a cartel investigative journalist - that also presents a challenge to see things in macro in stead of micro perspective. The drug war has been going on for decades - and it IS a war. The product being sold ends lives, destroys families, ruins communities, destroys nations. There is NOTHING good about it. Imagine if this drug war had been treated as President Trump is treating it now and for the next 3. years - how may lives, families, communities, even nations would not be in the hell hole they are in now? Still, we include her reporting for everyone’s education not because she (and others) just can’t see beyond the microperspective.
