Born in the Islamic Republic of Iran after the 1979 Revolution, Anni Cyrus was married at the age of 13 to a man in his mid-30s.
She recounts experiencing physical abuse when she did not comply with her husband’s wishes.
At 15, Cyrus escaped to Turkey, and three years later, she made her way to the United States.
She advocates for women’s rights and educates others about the challenges women in Iran face, particularly regarding sharia law.
She has praised Iranian women who resist the regime, acknowledging the risks they face.
Currently, Aynaz Anni Cyrus is a human rights activist, podcast host, film producer, and beauty influencer, known for her work on projects like Dark Tourist (2012), Wedding Day (2012), and Live Up to Freedom with Aynaz Anni Cyrus (2022).
She has more than 18 years of experience in creative roles and is associated with Patriot.TV.
Cyrus also has a presence on social media platforms like Instagram, where she shares her mission to bring hope and healing to women and girls living under Islamic rule, using the hashtag #NotoIslam.
