(Agro [BrasilAgro] is one of Brazil's larges companies in terms of arable land and its core business consists of the acquisition, development, operation and sale of rural properties suitable for agricultural activities. They have been supportive of Bolsonaro but have been chummy with Lula as well. I believe Bolsonaro is sending a message they need to commit themselves to one or the other.)
What Eduardo and Paulo Figueiredo weren't able to mention is that Lula is now facing impeachment charges. 180+ members of Congress have voted to start the impeachment process, 30+ more votes than both Dilma and Lula during his first term in office. At the time of the recording of the interviews, the voting was just getting under way.
Lula has also lost favor with MANY or the Pueblo and Mercosur members (groups focused on Central and South America) who are now - for the most part - favoring President Bukele of El Salvador.. There are still a few like Maduro who are holding fast to their ways but they are also falling in favor, so in the near future they all will be sitting around a campfire and remembering their old times... :-)
