Judge Boasberg Blocked Pirro‘s Probe Into Fed’s $1B Mystery, NOT a Happy Camper

Jeanine Pirro called out Judge Boasberg’s decision to quash subpoenas targeting Jerome Powell and Fed records on billion-dollar renovation overruns, arguing it defies Supreme Court rulings granting grand juries wide latitude to probe without forced preliminary showings.

Why it stands out: This isn’t a routine procedure; it’s a direct clash with precedent meant to protect investigations from judicial hurdles, raising questions about selective interference in high-stakes financial scrutiny.

For pro-U.S. audiences, it underscores the fight for institutional integrity: unchecked cost overruns erode economic confidence, while blocked probes fuel perceptions of elite protection.

Precedent ignored sets a dangerous precedent.

Will appeals restore the balance?
