When the Ottoman Empire collapsed it was due to the abandonment of their own, here not so much… To do that, they must have someplace to retreat to - and so far, there are no takers among their so-called allies. Both Russia and China, though supportive of them in the past, have closed their doors to such an invite. Leaving total annihilation as the only option - with the Leftists crying fowl all along the way, of course… too bad they aren’t as committed as the IRGC, we could kill two birds with one stone. :-)
