Schwab openly admits the narrative that sustained elite power for generations is breaking down.
The story that justified control.
The story that demanded sacrifice.
The story told ordinary people to suffer today for a “better future tomorrow.”
That narrative no longer works.
Why?
Because people have stopped believing it.
Schwab says resistance has grown so strong that international cooperation is now “nearly impossible.”
Translation…
Nations are choosing sovereignty.
Citizens are rejecting unelected authority.
The public no longer trusts the architects of global governance.
And here is the most revealing part:
He says the elites must now think about how to create an entirely new narrative.
Not listen.
Not reform.
Not repent.
Replace the story.
Because without a narrative, they have no legitimacy.
This is not confidence.
This is panic.
When the people stop believing the story —
The system cannot survive.
The spell is breaking.
