When They Can’t Blame the Jews, Why Does the Media Remain Silent?
Our Note: We have added our note at the end of Peter’s excellent article…
Global attention has been focused entirely on events in Iran and Lebanon these last two weeks.
Media coverage has reached saturation levels, and understandably so, given the military, political, and economic consequences that will directly or indirectly impact the lives of millions who are uninvolved.
But what about other conflicts creating equal suffering to civilians but not attracting any media attention and certainly no street protests nor statements from political leaders, influencers, and the social media mob, usually so quick to spew their vomit.
As at the time of writing, 10:30 am Friday (UK), March 13, a simple search verifies that Pakistan is bombing Afghanistan, killing scores of civilians, mainly women and children.
Fuel depots and non-military infrastructure have simultaneously been targeted, forcing the displacement of two hundred thousand plus civilians. Muslims killing Muslims in the month of Ramadan, and not a peep or protest.
No publicity, propaganda, or political proclamations from the United Nations, NGO’s, the EU, or the Islamic bloc.
The Afghan-Pakistani war has been active for some months now, thousands have been killed, and over two million people have been displaced, and I would wager most UK citizens are blissfully unaware of these events.
In the Democratic Republic of Congo, where nearly six million people have been slaughtered since 1998 and eleven million ethnically cleansed, drone strikes this week have killed UN aid workers, and a mass grave of nearly 200 indigenous black Africans recently butchered was discovered.
Were you aware of this?
Of course, you weren’t.
And where oh where are those celebrities, influencers, politicians, and human rights advocates when you need them?
Their silence is deafening.
And silence is assent.
Events in South Sudan this last month have created famine conditions for hundreds of thousands of Sudanese caught between the warring factions.
Reports of rape and mass slaughter have been ignored by global media as the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) engage in their fourth year of conflict.
In the last two months, nearly one thousand people have been killed by drone strikes, and thousands have died of famine.
Where on earth is Tom Fletcher, the Under Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator?
You know the chap – the upper-class English bureaucrat who was constantly being interviewed during the non-famine in Gaza.
Similarly, in Ethiopia in the Tigray region, there is a severe humanitarian crisis, and thousands of civilian deaths have been inflicted by a variety of powerful armed groups.
Have you read or heard about the slaughter in Amhara in the city of Bahir Dar by the Fano insurgency?
Or maybe the atrocities carried out by the Oromia Liberation Army (OLA) fighting against Ethiopian federal forces?
I guess in that case, you haven’t seen the latest clashes between Ethiopian and Eritrean forces?
No, of course not.
In the Sahel region, Jama’at Nusrat al- Islam wal-Muslimin have wreaked havoc and continue their reign of terror, launching a widespread offensive.
In Mozambique, the Islamic State of Mozambique is murdering its way into Cabo Delgado province.
All these wars, conflicts, famines, and human suffering are totally ignored by mainstream media and a disinterested United Nations.
So, while Iran and Lebanon take up every hour of every day of our global news, other conflicts with similar consequences of human suffering are continuing without exposure.
No outrage.
No protests.
No celebrity input or commentary.
No protestations from Muslim nor black parliamentarians.
No commentary from academia or trade unions.
Silence from university campuses.
Awards ceremonies from the arts and culture are silent.
One wonders if their interest would be aroused if Zionists, Jews, or Israelis were involved in any of these conflicts…

Trust In the Mainstream Media (MSM)
Trust in mainstream media (MSM) has declined significantly, with various polls indicating low public confidence.
Gallup’s research in 2024 and 2025 shows that 40% of U.S. adults trust the mass media “a great deal” or “a fair amount” to report the news accurately, while 60% have “not very much” or “none at all.”
In 2025, this figure dropped to 31%, expressing a “great deal” or “fair amount” of confidence.
By 2026, the percentage of Americans who say they trust the mass media “a great deal” or “a fair amount” tied Gallup’s lowest historical reading at 32%.
Further data points to a consistent trend of low trust…
In 2021, a Poynter Institute survey of 46 countries found that only 29% of people in the U.S. believed the news, significantly lower than in countries like Canada (45%) and Brazil (54%).
Why?
The U.S. has a much higher number of non-MSM news agencies, citizen and independent journalists than Canada and Brazil.
Brazil has a huge problem with its Federal Judicial system, as it wrongly believes it can control content entering Brazil by censoring accounts outside Brazil; censorship runs high, as does the number of self-exiles in the news business.
By October 2023, a Gallup poll reported that only 7% of Americans had a “great deal” of trust and confidence in the media, with 27% having a “fair amount.”
A record 39% of Americans reported having no trust in the media whatsoever, and another 29% reported having very little trust.
This erosion of trust is also reflected in public perceptions of journalistic intent.
A 2021 survey found that 56% of Americans believe journalists and reporters deliberately mislead people, and nearly 60% think most news organizations prioritize supporting an ideology or political position over informing the public.
By 2023, half of Americans surveyed disagreed with the statement that national news organizations do not intend to mislead, suggesting a widespread belief in deliberate deception.
What So Where Are Those Not Trusting the MSM Going?
Citizen Journalists (CJs)
Digital Warriors (DWs)
Independent Journalists (IJs)
News aggregators (NAs) like Decisive Liberty News, Citizen Free Press, Revolver News, The Liberty Daily, and others…
Why You Need to QUALIFY the Voice to Which You Listen
What does anyone believe?
Anything they keep hearing is being shared repeatedly by several sources.
Who controls what the MSM shares?
Gannett sends a 4 am bullet point to all news agencies, complete with scripts - hence the mockingbird effect with many local and national news, especially syndicated news.
What type of audience do they have?
Those who listen but don’t hear
Those who look but don’t see
Those who watch the shells but not the shell game
Those whose feelings agree with what they are saying
Who controls the CJs? DWs? IJs NAs?
Truth - they are self-regulated by competing associates as well as by their subscribers. Start burying the truth, and you will be isolated quickly
They have voices like (not by any means a comprehensive list, not in any particular order)…
Peter Baum
Kathleen Koble
Larry Arynn
Mahyar Tousi
Goldie Ghamari
Mike Benz
Kerri Lane
Lara Logan
Darren Beattie
Tim Pool
Katrina Szulc
Julian Dorey
Vincent “Rocco“ Vargas
Warren Smith (Secret Scholar Society)
They have organizations like
TPUSA
Promethean Action
Hillsdale College
Liberty University
This doesn’t mean once you start qualifying who you listen to, you will become one of them, but it does mean you and your family are better informed.
And you will feel better about your future and know what you can do if you are unhappy about something that is negatively affecting you and your family.
You will find yourself curious once again about God, prayer, and what works with Him.
The direction you and your family go is entirely dependent upon what you believe at any time.
And it is never too late to change course for both of you.
