What's Next After the People's Convoy?
Emotional let down always follows events like the People's Convoy when they fail to realize the scope of what they took on...

Claire Dooley’s video, Between War and Peace, An Insiders View of the People’s Convoy, ends with quite an emotional ending.
And truthfully, it is not uncommon with events like this.
In essence - it is the nature of the beast…
We know, we have been involved in several such events in the past nearly 40 years - and is why we are offering our thoughts on how to keep the soul and spirit of the People’s Convoy alive.
Emotional let down afterwards is NOT to say events like this should be not be held as they do serve a purpose and the People’s Convoy did an excellent job.
From our experience, the emotional let down by the participants comes from not being fully aware of the difference of possibility versus probability of what can be accomplished and the lack of focus on what to do after the event to keep the sould and spirit of the event alive.
The People’s Convoy’s goal was to create an awareness of what government COVID policies are doing to our trucking industry, especially at our borders where the overreach for power and control was making life miserable not only for the truckers but eventually everyone that was expecting their cargo to arrive.
Many times, such events as these are seeds that spur awareness - and without a follow-up and future planning to expand upon and feed that awareness they have raised, then there is the inevitable emotional let down by the participants and sometimes those that cheered them on as well.
In essence, they have created a foundation but neglected to make plans to build the house…
In every such event there are tangible and intangible goals as well as rewards - the People’s Convey’s rewards were mostly intangible, but there were and are tangible rewards to be had nonetheless.
As we shared, the purpose of events like the People’s Convoy is to raise awareness - we all know they were VERY successful at doing that…
Also, every one that participated - from the all appearances in the video anyways - didn’t have a firm grasp on what to expect at the end, what to do next after departing from D.C. nor what to do to measure feedback from the general public once everyone left D.C.
Let’s list and look at what we saw and learned…
too many people have stereotyped what a trucker is (thank you Hollywood [sarcasm]…)
truckers are our most important human resource of our entire workforce - nothing, absolutely nothing gets to where it needs to go without trucks. Look around you and make a list of things in your area that did not arrive via truck - you’ll be hard pressed to find even 3 such items
when pressed by our government, we can and we will rise up against it - the convoy raised awareness, more needs to be done as politicians are still ignoring the people
when you fight you never lose until you don’t get back up
when you don’t get back up you have forfeited your win to the enemy
good intentions never deliver results - and many times when we do something we fail to realize we are only pushing good intentions, so we have to see what else we need to do that will provide the results we want
We the People support ACTION, the convoy was just a beginning, there needs to be more actions taken - the People’s Convoy was able to raise awareness of government tyranny faster than anything else during the 2-year so-called COVID pandemic, however raising awareness is only the first step
So what to do?
KEEP THE PEOPLE’S CONVOY ALIVE BY BECOMING INVOLVED LOCALLY IN WHAT IS GOING ON IN YOUR COMMUNITY POLITICALLY
There are a bunch of legitimate organizations rising up nationally as well as locally - and many of the national organizations have local branches.
Like the People’s Convoy, nothing happens until people decisively take ACTION — and right now, given how pathetic our school systems are in deciding parents don’t have any say in their child’s education, given how many politicians talk the talk until elected then walk another direction, given how corrupt the media and social media has become, given the lack of integrity that has become painfully obvious in our election system, NONE of this is going to be corrected by our government - it is ALL going to be corrected by YOU.
The People’s Convoy raised the awareness of government tyranny with your health - and as we all know the health care sector is NOT the only sector the government wants to control.
Which means we need everyone aware, awake, and ready to take action if they are not already in action.
Here are our recommendations on getting involved locally (you may want to bookmark this post as this list will be updated periodically OR visit our website and the sidebar to any post will have these listed)…
Moms for Liberty - Moms for Liberty welcomes all that have a desire to stand up for parental rights at all levels of government. Their founders are Tiffany and Tina, moms on a mission to stoke the fires of liberty. As former school board members, they witnessed how short-sighted and destructive policies directly hurt children and families. Now they are using their first-hand knowledge and experience to unite parents who are ready to fight those that stand in the way of liberty.
True the Vote (2000 Mules) - In 2009, True the Vote found its footing after they realized that we were at a crossroads, as a nation, to keep elections free and fair. After being told we were “playing at the margins” and that “process doesn’t matter,” we learned instead that process is key, and citizens are far more powerful than we really know. This is not a game or a drill. This is real life, real liberty, and the cornerstone of all we are as a republic. The more that we move away from an election that brings Americans together to have a conversation about the direction of our country, the more that we risk losing the very thing that makes this nation special. This special thing is your ability as a citizen to have a say in our government. If you have reached a place where you want to make sure you have a say, then you need to be a part of True the Vote.
Precinct Strategy - Created by a citizen who believes each conservative American’s top priority should be active engagement as a precinct committeeman in the political Party our Founders and Framers would be members of if they were alive now: The Republican Party. Parents Defending Education - Parents Defending Education is a national grassroots organization working to reclaim our schools from activists imposing harmful agendas. Through network and coalition building, investigative reporting, litigation, and engagement on local, state, and national policies, they are fighting indoctrination in the classroom — and promoting the restoration of a healthy, non-political education for our kids.
Stand for Health Freedom - In one year, SHF has helped more than 150,000 men and women share powerful messages with their peers and directly with 19,000 elected officials across the U.S.
Ballot Security Now (PA) - Ballot Security Education was founded in 2021 to help the voters of Pennsylvania fully understand the adverse impact of Act 77, no-excuse mail-in ballots on the integrity of Pennsylvania’s electoral system and to advocate for secure and transparent elections. While the vital constitutional issue was initially resolved by the Commonwealth Court in the voters’ favor, the legal battle is expected to continue and the matter may only be resolved by the voters of the Commonwealth.
Look Ahead America - There are millions of rural and blue-collar patriotic Americans who are disaffected and disenfranchised from the nation’s corridors of power. Their fears ignored, their priorities dismissed, their values ridiculed, they’ve become cynical and pessimistic about a government that so often does not hear their voices. LAA’s mission is to register, educate, and enfranchise these disaffected citizens and ensure that their voices are not just heard but heeded and that the American Dream becomes their dream again. They will also organize and guide patriotic citizens in lobbying their state legislatures and local governments on America First initiatives like fighting corporate censorship and ensuring voter integrity. The first step is always the most daunting for many - either fear and/or your insecurities determines your future or you do, which is it going to be? One thing for sure, you may regret not getting involved but you will never regret for being involved.
