What SpaceX Just Did in FL Shocked NASA & Newsom - SpaceX Is Now a Bustling Port
Everything is moving forward - FAST... TX, FL wins, CA lost out...
What SpaceX just did in Florida shocked NASA & California's Gov...Never seen that before!
This is a huge win for SpaceX!
The FAA has just dropped a draft review for Starship launches out of LC-39A at Kennedy Space Center.
And that’s a green light for SpaceX.
This historic pad could soon roar back to life, giving Starship a second home, not just in Texas, but in Florida, too.
Even more exciting, the draft clears up to 44 launches per year, which is double what’s currently allowed at Starbase.
So what does this mean for the future of SpaceX?
Could it be the clearest sign yet that Elon Musk’s Mars ambitions are one step closer?
Let’s break it down on today’s episode of Alpha Tech!
Congrats to SpaceX, they never fail to dream big, and every time, they pull off achievements that leave competitors stunned.
Can you believe it?
In just 9 years, they’ve turned what used to be nothing but sand and marshland into a rocket paradise, a bustling little city called Starbase, stretching over 150 acres.
And they’re not stopping there.
SpaceX now has its eyes on Florida, at launch complex LC-39A.
But here’s the twist: they’re not just repeating what they did in Texas, they’re already building something even bigger, turning it into the true hub for Starship launches.
This isn’t just about a launch pad.
They’re also building a huge Starship Starfactory and a giant Gigabay, both on a larger scale than what they have in Texas.
Everything is steadily taking shape, but the launch pad is moving the fastest, and if all goes to plan, it could be ready by the end of this year, around December.
As part of that process, the company also needs a launch license from the Federal Aviation Administration, or FAA. Under the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, the license review includes a full environmental assessment.
And on August 4th, SpaceX had a big reason to celebrate: the FAA officially released its long-awaited draft review for the Starship project.
That milestone signals SpaceX is getting closer to securing either a brand-new license or an update to its existing one, finally clearing the path to launch Starship from pad 39A at Kennedy Space Center.
It’s a crucial stepping stone for SpaceX to expand Starship operations beyond Texas and into Florida.
