What Iran Has Been Doing Since 1979 While You Were Focused Elsewhere
Including a no punches withheld commentary from Virág Gulyás
Preface
The problems for Iran started with the Carter administration with the help of the CIA.
Carter thought the Mullahs, the present leadership - if you can call it that - were good for Iran.
Whether he gained that pathetic thought on his own or through CIA manipulation is still being discovered.
For more on how Carter gummed up this grease factory, the Bill of Rights Institute (BRI) has a great article giving an overview of his making things very detrimental for the Iranian people…

This is Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
He’s ruled Iran with an iron fist for over 35 years.
While others built nations, he built the world’s most dangerous theocracy.
How It Started
When Khamenei took power in 1989, Iran was already reeling from war and repression.
Instead of reform, he chose total control.
His first move was…
Crush the opposition
Silence dissent
Elevate fear to state policy
He
executed thousands of political prisoners
banned free speech
jailed journalists
tortured activists
Women were beaten for showing hair.
Students were shot for chanting for freedom.
Teenagers disappeared for dancing.
He built a system of terror:
A secret police to crush dissent
A morality police to punish women
A foreign legion (IRGC) to spread chaos abroad
While Western leaders talked about peace, he armed Hezbollah and Hamas.
He funded terror on every continent:
Bombings in Argentina
Assassinations in Europe
Roadside bombs killing US soldiers in Iraq
He didn’t just kill Iranians.
He exported terrorism worldwide.
At home, Iran starved.
Billions flowed to proxy militias, while Iranians faced:
Blackouts
Hunger
Hyperinflation
Protests were met with bullets.
Children were blinded by riot police.
Women were raped in jail for taking off a scarf.
He lied about Iran’s nuclear program.
For years, Khamenei denied ambitions.
Now the IAEA says Iran is hiding highly enriched uranium, used for bombs.
He wants to hold the world hostage with nukes.
Khamenei claims to be a man of faith.
But his actions?
Holocaust denial
Death chants for Israel
Genocidal threats on live TV
He called Israel a “cancer” and praised suicide bombers as heroes.
He’s 85 years old.
But his shadow still looms across the Middle East. His legacy?
A collapsed economy
A silenced nation
A region set on fire
A world once filled with female students, doctors, and freedom is now a world where women are treated like cattle and men are silenced and scared
This isn’t a “revolution”.
It’s a religious dictatorship dressed in robes.
And the man behind it?
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei — The Supreme Leader of Oppression

Shah Reza Pahlavi, father of Prince Reza Pahlavi (the now-favored next leader of Iran by those who love liberty), was favored by many nations as well as the Iranian people. With Carter’s interference, everything went dark from there.
This post provides a great and unbiased look at what happened…
