U.S. Coast Guard Crews Intercept a Drug-smuggling Vessel Off of Ecuador
We’re sharing this as there is a lot more going on than the drug-trafficking boats being blown up off the shores of Mexico
Coast Guard Cutter Stone’s crew intercepts and sinks a suspected drug smuggling vessel approximately 250 miles off Ecuador, Sept. 11, 2025.
Following this deployment, Stone’s crew offloaded approximately 49,010 pounds of illicit narcotics seized from multiple vessels, worth more than $362 million at Port Everglades, Florida, on Nov. 19, 2025.
