The case against the Environmental Protection Agency, led by West Virginia and joined by dozens of states, has been voted upon by SCOTUS, 6-3, nullifying the Clean Air Act.

This reversal curbs the regulatory powers of the EPA and also changes the ability of any number of federal bureaucracies to broadly issue regulations not outlined by legislation.

The case in question, West Virginia v. EPA, stems from a D.C. District Court’s ruling that threw out a Trump-era rule replacing Obama-era regulations.

This ruling will have a definite impact a wide range of government agencies which regulate American life outside the express writing of their legislative mandate.

It is a definite blow against climate change, as it limits how the nation's main anti-air pollution law can be used to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from power plants.

Another Decision, 5-4, centered on immigration overturned Trump’s remain in Mexico policy is a win for President Joe Biden and a loss for the American people as well as the Custom Border Patrol.

The 5 votes came from Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Brett Kavanaugh joining the 3 liberal judges in the majority.
