Earlier we mentioned China can ill-afford being a world leader as it's economy is collapsing internally (aka depression in the making).

Despite having a cracked and crumbling foundation necessary for global dominance, the CCP has been operating in defiance of its long-term and destructive consequences. China's situation is so dire on so many levels that even short-term fixes are are only contributing to their own demise.

One has to wonder if making payments in yuan in international trade, especially with BRICS, is their last resort to keep the imminent deflation from happening and just how damaging they could be contributing to a global depression when and not if they do fail to save themselves...
