In a recent interview with the left-wing The New Yorker magazine (archived here), Supreme Federal Court (STF) Justice Alexandre de Moraes stated that if Nazi Germany’s Minister of Propaganda, Joseph Goebbels (1897–1945), were alive today, “the Nazis would have conquered the world” by using social media as a weapon
The justice criticized the stance of social media platforms, which, according to him, ignore national laws and seek to make themselves untouchable by the legal systems of individual countries.
Here is a Department of State post that represents what irks Moraes and represents what he is against…

Moraes also addressed the rise of the far right, which, in his view, uses a well-structured form of populism to win over public sympathy while simultaneously denouncing the corruption of democratic institutions.
In his view, the battle over the internet began a decade and a half ago.
“The far right realized, during the Arab Spring, that social media could mobilize people without the need for intermediaries. At first, algorithms were refined for economic purposes, to attract consumers. Then people realized how easy it is to redirect that for political ends, for power.”
Moraes sees social media as a defining force of our time.
“If Goebbels were alive and had access to X, we’d be doomed.’The Nazis would have conquered the world.”
According to Moraes…
“the far right wants to take power not by openly declaring itself against democracy—because it wouldn’t gain popular support—but by claiming that democratic institutions are being manipulated.”
The justice also asserted that…
“big tech companies want to create a new Dutch West India Company to control the world.”

Our Notes
There are only 3 social media companies that Moraes has permitted the proverbial hair to his butt - Rumble. Telegram, and X.
And there are Brazilian podcasters who have gained political asylum in the U.S.A., podcasters of whom many Brazilians listen to religiously and faithfully.
ICYMI - agitation is a feeling, reacting to that agitation needs your permission
All refuse to be controlled by censorship brought on by left-wing governments as well as left-wing courts, and they don’t discriminate either, as they do so to such entities whether they are in or outside the U.S.A.
The only censorship cases brought on by the right have proven to concern national security.
Telegram is in a unique situation as it will provide data for terrorist groups using its platform (terrorists can’t operate in Rumble and X in secrecy to the level they can in Telegram).
This does not include censorship (like muting and blocking) of shills, antisemites, and psychotics who are only online to get people triggered by their arrogance and stupidity - freedom of speech hardly means you are obliged to take their verbal (or physical) abuse.
Their Playbook
And as governments and government agents like Moraes are not getting their way, they fall back on the same two documents they have had for the 60+ years (all links open in our online library)…
And more recently, Obama has added his flair to it all, starting with his days in college...
Islam uses the same principles as above…
The difference is that Islam goes by a percentage formula, where Liberals, democrats, and globalists go by acclamation (aka normalization).
This explains - in part - their protectiveness of Islam even though so many innocent citizens have died at their hands.
Kindred spirits…
What will happen in Brazil next, only God knows - speaking of which, the left has no problem being blasphemous about faith and religion as well, nothing is sacred to them save their own lives.
Whatever happens next, Trump has ample tools at his disposal to be sure the 3 platforms remain protected under our First Amendment.
Both Trump and Bolsonaro are wise - you never tell your enemy your plans, unless you already have them in a position of which their is no escape.
Moraes and those supporting him will keep making comparisons as they are doing now - but that gets old quickly when the people are awake.
Even in Cuba, the people are aware of the government lies - and they are getting agitated enough to start pushing back.
As for Brazil, a major majority are awake… it is not uncommon for Bolsonaro to attract 400,000, even 500,000, to his events.
For Lula - such a crowd, even in his home region of Northwest Brazil, is only a wet dream…
Even for Obama…
Free speech will reign and Obama, Alnsky, Cloward-Piven, Obama, Lula, Moraes will be damned…
Moraes believes he can reach into our country with his censorship - that is his biggest mistake.
