LIVE: White House Press Briefing Amid Strait of Hormuz Blockade

The White House is expected to hold a briefing at 1:00PM ET with press secretary Karoline Leavitt.

This comes amid reports the U.S. may return to the negotiating table with Iran to discuss an end to the war in Iran.

President Trump ordered a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. On Tuesday, U.S. Central Command posted on X saying U.S. forces had “completely halted economic trade going into and out of Iran by sea.”
