[LIVE NOW] Cross Roads with Joshua Phillip: EU Attempts to Regulate US Platforms; Monroe Doctrine Makes Comeback
The European Commission is attempting to regulate American platforms and even fine them.
The commission has issued a fine of 120 million euros, or just over $139 million, to the social media platform X.
X is refusing to comply, and this is quickly becoming a global diplomatic issue and a question of whether foreign countries can export their laws to the United States.
Also, on the point of defending American sovereignty against European powers, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth declared that the United States will once again enforce the Monroe Doctrine.
Joshua will discuss these topics and others in this episode of Crossroads.
NOTE: later this afternoon, we will have a 2nd post on this video once the stream is complete so to include the transcript
