Where did it say NOT to believe in God? We are commanded to seek knowledge AND Godly wisdom, with wisdom taking priority. Yes, it is great to take in all that He has created - yet there is a reason why some of the Biblical, not all, were favored over others - and that amounted to how they prayed.
