BIBLE - Liberty, 2 Peter 2:19 (NKJV)
Deceptions of False Teachers
18 For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage. 20 For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.

Sound familiar when it comes to politicians?
Our Founding Fathers knew it applied to them, their families, any leader as well - they were well aware of the pivotal moment in which they were living and molding. This awareness and pain in forming as well as leading a new nation in the right direction becomes very apparent in the correspondence with one another than can be found in the National Archives (both online as well as off), the Library of Congress, as well as the Internet Archive.
But leaders are also within your family - the father is designed by God to be the financial, physical, and spiritual leader of the home. In homes where both parents are working full time, the problems are more prevalent than in those that have only one parent working full time and the other half time, or even remaining home altogether. With homeschooling, there is a definite need to have only one parent working.
What about divorce? Here’s a stat you won’t hear about in the media as it opens up a can of worms for them: of couples that pray together daily and discuss the Bible often with one another, the divorce rate is 1:10,000+
Part of that is the understanding of securing a solid foundation in the spiritual realm BEFORE securing a solid foundation in the physical realm. Believing IN God is not the same as living in His Word - HUGE difference.
There are only 2 realms - God’s and the devil’s. When you step into the devil’s, God abides by your decision, by your will. Why? Your commitment to Him must be voluntary - surrendering you selfishness to the blessings He will provide just by you asking. That surrender is a lifelong pursuit until you pass on. It gets easier as you keep surrendering, but it never ceases.
Why? Just as you can’t sharpen a knife on a sponge, you can’t sharpen your wits on an easy life.
There’s a reason we are introduced to Adam while he was working in the garden…
U.S. HISTORY - Uncover the True American Founding and Learn How We've Departed From It Today
Almost 250 years ago our Founders established the freest and most prosperous nation in human history.
Today we have moved so far away from the political theory of the American Founding that we risk losing sight of what made America great in the first place.
“The Real American Founding: A Conversation” will help students understand what the Founders meant by freedom, equality, and rights—words that are commonly used today, but often misunderstood.
In this Hillsdale College free online course, Thomas West, one of the leading scholars on the American Founding, is joined by David Azerrad, his former student and now colleague, to examine the principles of the Founders, explore the urgent political questions they faced, and reveal the choices they made to secure free government in America.
The goal of their conversation is to move beyond a simple recitation of the abstract principles of the Founding and bring their political theory to life so we can see how the Founders approached the perennial problems of politics.
Over the course of 8 episodes, you’ll learn:
what the Founders meant by equality, freedom, and rights
the Founders' understanding of natural law and the moral duties of citizenship
the policies the Founders believed were necessary to secure the rights of Americans
why the Founders thought sex and marriage were important political topics, and
what the Founders might say in response to many of the crises we face today
