There have been some issues with posts about Iran lately.
Meaning the post cannot be read for various reasons.
And yet others are going through without a problem.
It’s called censorship.
We stopped using Gmail more than 20 years ago when we discovered they were scanning emails, claiming they were scanning just for malware and viruses.
Google’s business model involves tracking, compiling, storing, and selling personal data, and extensive cross-device tracking raises significant privacy concerns.
Free email services, including gMail, track and collect extensive data on users, such as emails, metadata, and online behavior, which they then use to sell targeted advertising.
While Google announced in 2017 that it would stop scanning consumer gMail content for ad personalization, the language that permitted it to do so remains in its privacy policy, and it still scans emails for other purposes, such as customizing search results and detecting spam and malware.
Some third-party software developers, with user permission, have been allowed to access Gmail users’ emails, with employees in some cases reading unredacted emails to train software
They had already been caught for not fully disclosing the truth of their search engine results by favoring content they preferred over what their users preferred, and with that broken trust, we ended our relationship with them.
As most have already discovered, MOST of the legacy free email providers are doing more than they let on.
