Exposing The Palestinian Myth
On June 4th, 1967, Jordanians overnight became a Palestinian - so where were the Palestinians before 1967? - by Peter A. Baum
The Palestinian Myth Has Plenty Of Evidence From Authors, Writers, and History…
Even From The Qur’an
Yet, the U.N. and hate groups are adamant in remaining anti-Israel while taking a stance for a myth that does not appear anywhere until a lie is embraced and promoted.
When anyone has all that knowledge available to them and they unwisely refuse to verify any of it, then the only success they have is found in making themselves look like magnanimous idiots all while enjoying their foolish and selfish comradery.

Islam And The Pro-Muslim U.N. Are Defying The Qur’an
Neither the words ‘Jerusalem’ nor ‘Palestinian’ appear anywhere within the Qur’an and, logically, therefore it is a myth that today’s Palestinians have existed as a people, race, culture, genre, or religious group affiliated or connected to either Islam, the geographical area known as Palestine, or the City of Jerusalem.
Apart from the absence of Palestine and Jerusalem within the Qur’an, Muslims on the order of Mohammed turn their backs to Jerusalem as a sign of contempt for the City when praying.
This was a direct result of Jews, who were forced into converting to Islam in the 7th Century, secretly adhered to Judaism.
And those who willfully converted in order to avoid taxes — it was forbidden for Muslims to tax other Muslims — also maintained their Judaism to the outrage of Mohammed who then redetermined the direction of prayer.
Exacerbating the mythological connection of Muslims to Jerusalem is the fable regarding Mohammed’s ascent to heaven from the ‘nearest Mosque’, presumably in Mecca, to the ‘ Furthest Mosque’ through lies and propaganda notes as Jerusalem.
As The Prophet Died Circa 632 AD
And The First Mosque Built In Jerusalem Was Circa 715 AD,
Then Clearly The So-Called Furthest Mosque
Was Not In Jerusalem!!
Palestinians are simply now an amalgamation of mainly Arabs of the Islamic religion united by racist, political objectives to destroy Israel and the Jewish people.
They are affiliated with two main political parties, the Palestinian Authority and Hamas as well as a variety of even more extremist militant groups.
The historical evidence to prove the above is comprehensive and this article will expose the mythology beyond doubt.
Whether it will change the minds of the pro-Palestinian lobby is improbable but for those with open minds, or those uneducated on the subject, there is indeed a possibility.
It would be the height of absurdity to claim that any contemporary politician, any anti-Israeli/Jewish/Zionist activist, or any Jew-hating Jew would know better than those referred to and cited below and the evidence they provided at the time of writing.
Muqaddasi, a noted Arab scribe, wrote in 985 AD (archive)…
In Jerusalem the vast majority of the population were Jewish and the Mosque is empty of worshipers.
Ibn Tamiyyah, 1263-1328 AD Islamic scholar and scribe (archive)…
In Jerusalem, there is not a place one calls sacred and the same holds true for the tombs of Hebron.
This is just one of numerous Arab and Muslim religious leaders and prominent authors who understand the lack of connection between Islam and Jerusalem from a purely religious perspective.
Indeed those Muslims determined to make the connection to disadvantage Israel and the Jewish people are in fact direct conflict with the Qur’an and indeed are mocking the Qur’an, Allah, and the prophet Mohammed as the Qur’an specifically bequeath and bestows the Holy Land (Israel) to the Children of Israel (the Jewish people) in numerous Suras (including but not limited to 2.40; 2.47; 2.63; 2.65; 2.83; 2.85; 2.87; 2.121; 2.122; 3.187; 5.12; 5.20; 5.70; 7.159; 10.93; 14.6-7; 28.2-6; 32.22; 45.17; and 57.26 [archives 2.40; 2.47; 2.63; 2.65; 2.83; 2.85; 2.87; 2.121; 2.122; 3.187; 5.12; 5.20; 5.70; 7.159; 10.93; 14.6-7; 28.2-6; 32.22; 45.17; and 57.26] ).
Quotes From The Qu’ran And Hadith About Jews, Jerusalem, And Israel
And thereafter We (Allah) said to The Children Of Israel, Dwell securely in the Promised Land.
And when the last warning will come to pass we will gather you together in a mingled crowd.
In his paper, “What The Qur’an Really Says“, Sheikh Professor Abdul Hadi Palazzi eloquently and comprehensively explains how Islam has been usurped by pro-Palestinian supporters who are actually in direct contravention of the word of Allah.

Paradoxically, directly as a result of the Sunni-Shia political divide, many Gulf State Sunni clerics are compromising on the connection between Judaism and Jerusalem in order to dilute Iranian Shia influence.
Formerly both sects were fundamentally opposed to any Jewish claim on Jerusalem but politics now dictates a closer relationship between the Jewish State of Israel and the Sunni Arab nations.
A common theme used by Israel’s religious enemies would be to contemptuously deny the Suras supporting the rights of Jews as above by identifying those Suras who are antagonistic towards the Jews.
Such Suras can easily be challenged by interpretation of terminology when the Suras were originally written.
The term ‘Jews’ or Yahudis, was a derogatory term used to describe only those of the Jewish faith who were the militant minority.
Children of Israel was, however, the collective term used to describe all members but not militant Jews, of the Jewish faith.
Many pragmatic modern-day Imams as suggesting that the world of Islam is in such current turmoil, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Somalia among others, as a direct result of the incorrect link and support for the Palestinians to Jerusalem.
For 800+ Years, Authors, Writers & History Have Not Recognized Palestine
13th-century Syrian-Arab biographer Yaqut al-Hamawi (archive)…
Mecca is holy to Muslims, Jerusalem is holy to Jews.
The notion that Jerusalem is the 3rd holiest city to Muslims is a recent one devised by the Nazi collaborator, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, in the 1930s.
The idea was that the Temple Mount was of religious importance to Muslims when the first Fatwa, or religious ruling, was made in 1947 after the UN Partition.
Arafat, later in 1967, used this claim to reiterate the Grand Muftis’ assertion that Jerusalem was the third holiest place to Islam.
Thus it can be witnessed historically and religiously ( and legally ) that the Islamic claim to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount is recent and based on political conveniences.
Ibn Khaldun (archive), the most noted, famed, creditable Arab historian, wrote in 1377…
Jewish Sovereignty in the Land of Israel extended over 1400 years… it was the Jews who implanted the culture and customs of the permanent settlement.
Thus we see that from a religious standpoint
the Islamic claim to Jerusalem is not only recent and
driven by political antisemitism but
also actually defies and mocks Islamic teachings
as established within the Qur’an.
History reveals no ‘Palestinian’ wars, battles, or conflicts challenging the numerous and different invading foreigners to the Holy Land – I defy any of our readers to name and date any such conflict from 300 BC to 1948 AD. [Editor’s note: feel free to leave such information in the comments below – if you find any information…]
Moreover, the claim of an indigenous ‘Palestinian’ population inhabiting the geographical area is equally preposterous as evidenced below.
Tewlik Bey El Houran (archive) — Governor of Houran Province, southwest Syria — in an interview with La Syne on August 12, 1934, actually proved that immigration from surrounding Arab countries to Palestine was simply a result of economic opportunities created by Zionism.
In the last few months up to 36,000 Hoarasee Syrians have left and settled in Palestine.
Such statements as this and those noted below together with the photographs of both Leo Kahn, ‘Palestine in Pictures’ 1912, and Dwight L. Elmendorf, in his 1901/1912 compilation called “A Camera Through The Holy Land” (archive), both identify pictorial evidence of the total absence of ‘Palestinian ‘ life, culture, and existence but clearly verify the Jewish historical, cultural, and religious connections to the geography.
Auni Bey Abdul-Hadi, Syrian-Arab leader to British Peel Commission, 1937…
There is no such country as Palestine.
‘Palestine’ is a term the Zionists invented.
There is no Palestine in the Qur’an.
Our country was for centuries part of Syria and ‘Palestine’ is alien to us.
It is the Zionists who introduced it.
[ link/archive ]
Let us use these words when an anti-Jewish State, pro-Palestinian politician, or commentator is promoting the wrongs done to the nonexistent, anthropological miracle we call Palestinians.
That they should contradict one of the most respected and prominent Arab politicians of the 20th century is indeed preposterous.
Walid Shoebat, a former PLO terrorist…
Why is it that on June 4th, 1967, I was a Jordanian and overnight I became a Palestinian?
We did not particularly mind Jordanian rule.
The teaching of the destruction of Israel was a definite part of the curriculum but we considered ourselves Jordanian until the Jews returned to Jerusalem.
Then all of a sudden we were Palestinians – they removed the Star from the Jordanian flag and all at once we had a Palestinian flag.
When I finally realized the lies and myths I was taught, it [was] my duty as a righteous man to speak out. [ link/archive ]
The above statements should have some impact on the anti-Zionist mob, more so as there has never previously been a Palestinian flag nor currency nor archaeological find, etc.
Moreover, there has never been a war, battle, or conflict fought by indigenous Palestinians from 300 BC to 1964 AD.
If my boringly, disciplined research proves incorrect, perhaps a reader would identify the date and title of such a battle/war and the name of the indigenous Palestinian leader at the time.
The term Palestinian was given by the Romans to the geographical area to disconnect their enemies, the Jews whom they had defeated militarily from their lands.
The Latin Palaestina was named after the Philistines (a derivation from the Hebrew word Peleshet, or invaders) who were wiped out by the Pharaoh Ramose 111 in 1200 BC and originated from the Aegean Islands.
Paradoxically, and comically perhaps, there is no sound for the letter ‘P’ in Arabic and, therefore, modern-day ‘Palestinians’ call themselves a name that is missing in their language.
The Arabic sound equivalent is Fellastine and as if to further prove my claims correct, there is no reference in history to any Fellastine, war, battle, currency, flag, village, or indigenous, historical Fellastinian.
Joseph Farah, an Arab writer, and journalist wrote in his essay ‘Myths of the Middle East‘, November 2000 (archive)…
There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians.
Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians, another recent invention, Syrians, Iraqis, etc.
Keep in mind that the Arabs control 99.9% of the Middle East lands.
Israel controls 1/10th of 1% (0.1%) but that’s too much for the Arabs.
They want it all.
And that is ultimately what the fighting in Israel is about today.
No matter how many land concessions the Israelis make.
It will never be enough.
Professor Philip Hitti (archive), Arab historian 1946 (archive)…
There is no such thing as Palestine nor Palestinians story, absolutely not.
Philip Hitti was solely responsible for the creation and implementation of Arab studies within the curriculum of universities in the USA.
Ahmed Shukan, Representative of Saudi Arabia at the United Nations, 1956…
It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but Southern Syria.
Zuheir Moshen (archive), a founding member of the Palestine Liberation Movement and a military commander on the PLO Executive Council, in an interview with the Der Truuwe newspaper 1977…
There are no differences between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians, and Lebanese.
We are all part of one nation.
It is only for political reasons that we carefully underline our Palestinian identity…
Yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity serves only tactical purposes.
The founding of a Palestinian State is a new tool in the continuing battle against Israel.
Syrian dictator Hafez Assad to PLO Leader Yassir Arafat…
You do not represent Palestine as much as we do.
Never forget this one point.
There is no such thing as a Palestinian people, there is no Palestinian entity there is only Syria.
You are an integral part of Syria.
Therefore it is we, the Syrian authorities, who are the true representatives of the Palestinians.

Hamas Minister of the Interior and Head of National Security, Fathi Hamed, said on Egyptian Al-Hakma TV, March 2012…
… every Palestinian in Gaza and throughout Palestine can prove his Arab roots whether from Saudi Arabia, Yemen, from anywhere.
We have blood ties.
So where is your affection and mercy?
Personally, all my family is Egyptian.
We are like that.. the other half Saudis.
Who are the Palestinians?
We have many families called Al-Masri whose roots are Egyptian.
They may be from Alexandria or Cairo.
From the North, from Aswan, from Upper Egypt.
We are purely Arabs, Egyptians. and Muslims.
Even Hamas understands the Palestinians are a myth.
As unpalatable as it may be to the pro-Palestinian mob who support the narrative that Jews ethnically cleansed 700,000 Palestinians from their original habitat, committed genocide against the indigenous Palestinians, and are responsible for nearly 7,000,000 Palestinian refugees, this is just mythology.
Historical evidence identifies no such indigenous population known as Palestinians as per the writings of visitors to the Holy Land from the 16th Century.
Gunnar Edward Webbe in 1590 wrote…
Nothing there is to be seen but a little of the old walls which [are] yet remaining and all the rest is grass, moss, and weeds much like a piece of rank or moist ground.
Thomas Shaw, a British archaeologist, in the mid-1700s wrote…
The land in Palestine is lacking in people to till its fertile soil.
Count Constantine Francois Volney, 18th Century French author, and historian…
Palestine is a ruined and desolate country.
Many writers and historians have visited the area throughout the ages and not one, I repeat – not one has ever noted the existence of a Palestinian nor Fellastinian indigenous presence.
William Thackeray in From Jaffa To Jerusalem 1844…
Then we entered the hill district and our path lay through the clattering bed of an ancient stream, whose brawling waters have rolled away into the past along with the fierce and turbulent race who once inhabited these savage hills.
There may have been cultivation here 2,000 years ago.
The mountains, or huge stony mounds environing this rough path, have level ridges all the way up to their summits.
On these parallel ledges there is still some verdure and soil, when water flowed here and the country was thronged with that extraordinary population which according to the Sacred Histories was crowded into the region.
These mountain steps may have been gardens and vineyards such as we see now thriving along the hills of the Rhine.
Now the district is quite deserted and you ride among what seem to be so many petrified waterfalls.
We saw no animals moving among the stony brakes, scarcely even a dozen little birds in the whole course of the ride.

Mark Twain in The Innocents Abroad 1867…There is not a solitary village throughout its whole extent (valley of Jezreel, Galilea), not for 30 miles in either direction.
One may ride 10 miles hereabouts and not see 10 humans.
For the sort of solitude to make one dreary, come to Galilee.
Nazareth is forlorn.
Jericho lies a mouldering ruin.
Bethlehem and Bethany in their poverty and humiliation untenanted by any living creature.
A desolate country whose soil is rich enough but is given over wholly to weeds…
A silent mournful expanse, a desolation.
We never saw a human being on the whole route nor hardly a tree nor shrub anywhere.
Even the olive tree and the cactus those fast friends of a worthless soil had almost deserted the country.
Palestine sits in a sackcloth and ashes…. desolate and unlovely
Why did Twain not see any Palestinians?
Where were they hiding?
They were, in fact, not there.
James Parker the 19th Century historian wrote…
During the 1st century, after the Arab conquest 670 -740 CE, the caliph and the Governors of Syria and the Holy Land ruled entirely over Christian and Jewish subjects.
Apart from the Bedouins in the earliest days, the only Arabs west of the Jordan were the garrisons.
20th Century Evidence Of The Palestinian Myth Abounds
The above are just some examples of extracts from essays from visitors to the region proving the total lack of Palestinian, indigenous identification and presence.
Other examples which I shall name but not quote are the following –
Alphonse de Lamartine
Sir George Gawle
Sir George Adam Smith
Adrian Reland (who actually wrote about the complete absence of Arabic place names and the totality of Hebrew names )
Siebald Rieter
Priest Michael Naud
Martin Kabatnik
Arnold Van Harff
Johann Tucker
Felix Fabri
Edward Robinson
All the above only identified a Jewish presence in communities in Jerusalem, Shechem, Hevron, Haifa, Safed, Gaza Ramleh, Acre, Sidon etc., etc., but absolutely no Palestinian presence.
These scribes were between the 16th and 19th centuries.
Latterly other evidence validating the above if any were needed were from those listed below –
B.W.Johnson ”Young Folks In Bible Lands ” especially Chapter 4, 1892…
The Report of the British Peel Commission 1913
Further evidence of the ‘Palestinian’ myth is highlighted by various Arab commentators and politicians in Arab journals.
The case history is well documented as in ‘The Double Exodus‘ by the Honourable Terence Prittie and Bernard Dineen.
Their research on the reasons for the Palestinian Arabs leaving their homes is clear based on documented evidence at the time.
The major causes of the exodus were the surrounding Arab Governments and Arab propagandists who proclaimed a war of annihilation and encouraged a wave of attacks on Jews.
The documented case history of Haifa is typical of other areas.
Mathematically, where it is estimated that 60,000 Arabs inhabited the 2nd most populated Arab city, it is absurd to believe the continuous propaganda that anything over 350,000 Arabs left in total.
On April 21st, 1948 the General commanding the British forces in Haifa with the Jewish Mayor of Haifa Shebetai Levi implored the Arabs to stay in Haifa.
The answer of the Arab National Committee on April 27th, 1948 was
The signing of a truce would be a disgrace to the Arab population.
Our delegation proudly refuses to sign the truce and asked that the evacuation of the population and their transfer to the neighbouring Arab countries be facilitated.
The military and civil authorities expressed their profound regret at this grave decision.
The Mayor adjourned the meeting with a passionate appeal to the Arabs to reconsider its decision.
The statement is self-explanatory and is typical of similar attempts by other Jewish authorities to stop the Arab exodus.
On April 28th, 1948, the British Superintendent of Police in Haifa wrote…
There is no change in the situation in Haifa.
The Jews are still making every effort to persuade the Arab populace to remain and settle back into their normal lives in the town.
Such efforts to stem the flow of Arabs leaving were also noted in a special report in the Economist…
During subsequent days the Jewish authorities who were now in complete control of Haifa urged all Arabs to remain in Haifa and guaranteed them protection and security……..Various factors influenced the Arabs to leave and there is little doubt that the most potent of these factors were the announcements made by the Arab Higher Executive urging all Arabs to quit. It was clearly intimated after the Arab armies had driven the Jews into the sea any Arabs who chose to remain would be regarded as renegades.
Emile Ghoury, Secretary of the Palestinian Arab Higher Committee, in the Beirut Telegraph September 6th, 1948…
The Arab State which had encouraged the Arabs to leave their homes temporarily in order to be out of the way of the Arab invasion armies have failed to keep their promise to help these refugees.
Khaled Al-Azm, Syrian Prime Minister 1948…
Since 1948, it was we who demanded the return of the refugees and it was we who made them leave.
We brought disaster on the Arab refugees by inviting them and bringing pressure to bear upon them to leave.
We have rendered them dispossessed.
We have accustomed them to begging.
We have participated in lowering their moral and social level.
Then we exploited them in executing crimes of murder, arson and throwing bombs upon Jewish men, women and children, all this in the service of political purposes.
The Jordanian daily newspaper Falastin February 19th, 1949…
Who brought the Palestinians to Lebanon as refugees, suffering now from the malign attitude of newspapers and communal leaders who have neither honour nor conscience?
Who brought them over in dire straits and penniless after they had lost their honor?
The Arab States and Lebanon among them did it.
Soviet delegate to the UN Security Council March 4th, 1949 –
Statements have been made on the Arab refugee question but why should the State of Israel be blamed for that problem?
When seeking to determine responsibility for the existence of the problem of the Arab refugees, we cannot fail to mention the influence of outside forces…
The Arabs pursue their own selfish interests which have nothing in common either with the cause of peace and international security or with the interests of the Arab and Jewish peoples and which only correspond to the aggressive designs of the leading circles in some Arab States.
The Beirut Muslim weekly Kul-Shay August 19th, 1951…
The 15th of May arrived.
On that day, the Mufti of Jerusalem appealed to the Arabs of Palestine to leave the country because the Arab armies were about to enter and fight in their stead.
The Jordanian daily newspaper Al Urdun April 9th, 1953…
I could go on and on with this forgotten or deliberately obscured history.
But you get to the point -there was no Jewish conspiracy to chase Arabs out of their homes in 1948.
It never happened.
There are instead plenty of historical records showing the Jews pleading with their Arab neighbours to stay and live in peace and harmony.
Yet, despite the clear unambiguous words of the Arab observers at the time, history has been successfully rewritten to turn the Jews into the bad guys.
The Cairo daily Akhbar el Yom October 12th, 1963…
For the flight and fall of the other villages, it is our leaders who are responsible because of their dissemination of rumors exaggerating Jewish crimes and describing them as atrocities in order to inflame the Arabs.
By spreading rumors of Jewish atrocities, killings of women and children, etc., they instilled fear and terror in the hearts of the Arabs in Palestine until they fled leaving their homes and properties to the enemy.

Those Calling Themselves Palestinians Are Being Used As Pawns In A Very Dangerous Game
The truth is that nearly 70% of the Arabs who left in 1948, perhaps 350,000 maximum never saw an Israeli soldier.
Even more importantly, the revised history has given the guilty a free ride.
The Arab states initiated the hostilities and have never accepted responsibility or the legacies of defeat.
Despite their enormous wealth and their ability to assimilate tens of thousands of refugees in their underpopulated countries.
And the United Nations has failed to hold them accountable.
Not only have the Arab States created the refugee problem but they have successfully used propaganda and bribed UN-affiliated countries to blame the Jews for the status quo.
And until today, this cruel charade continues and the suffering of Arabs is perpetuated for political purposes by the Palestinians, the Arabs, and their anti-Jewish State supporters.
Palestinian refugees are used as pawns to destroy Israel.
History Does Not Favor The U.N. Nor The Palestinian Myth
There were over 100,000,000 refugees around the world following WWII.
The Palestinian Arab group is the only one globally not absorbed nor integrated into their own people’s lands.
Since then, millions of Jewish refugees, ethnically cleansed from Arab lands and after the horrors of the European holocaust, have been absorbed into the tiny nation of Israel – now a world leader in all things technology, medicines, and agriculture and assisting some of the world’s poorest.
Why has history been turned on its head to give credibility to the historical origination of a non-existent people when no evidence exists to prove such an identity?
No archaeological finds, no evidence of wars, battles, or conflicts fought by such a people, and no proof of any historical man or woman of such an identity, race, or people.
There are no writings from any Palestinian person up until 1964.
And even more disheartening is why would the world’s majority Nations through the U.N. – aka, the Theatre of the Absurd – give so much support to a mythological race morphed into a variety of racist political parties with the sole objective of destroying the Jewish race and identity?
