About Mosab Hassan Yousef
Mosab Hassan Yousef, born in 1978 in the West Bank, is an American author and former Palestinian militant who became an Israeli spy for the Shin Bet, Israel's intelligence service, from 1997 until 2007.
He is the oldest son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a co-founder of the Palestinian Islamist organization Hamas.
Yousef is known for his autobiography, The Son of Hamas, and the documentary The Green Prince, which chronicle his life story, his defection, and his work as a double agent.
Yousef was an integral part of the Hamas movement from a young age, assisting his father in political activities and being groomed to assume his legacy.
He was imprisoned by the Shin Bet for more than 27 months, during which he began to question his allegiances.
While in an Israeli prison, he was approached about becoming a spy for the Shin Bet, initially accepting the idea of betraying them.
This led to a 6-year period where he worked as a double agent, jeopardizing Hamas and endangering his own family and life.
In 2007, Yousef moved to the United States.
His book, The Son of Hamas, details his insider's view of the organization, his separation from his family, and his decision to make his newfound Christian faith public.
Yousef believes that the Christian mandate to "love your enemies" is the only path to peace in the Middle East.
After the first draft of his book circulated, he became an outcast, with no government offering him political asylum and the Israeli government not recognizing his work.
Yousef has been critical of Hamas and certain aspects of Islam. He has compared Islam to Nazism, stated he has "zero respect for anyone who identifies as Muslim," and accused Muslims of using Palestine as "a device against Israel".
He has devoted his life to exposing what he views as the truth about Hamas, declaring that he dedicates himself to defending Israel and the Jewish people.
He views Hamas's actions, such as those on October 7, 2023, as the logical outcome of their creed, describing it as a "religious war".
Yousef also states that Palestine never existed as a sovereign state but is a "colonial entity," and that the Palestinian national identity was created about 60 years ago.
His controversial views have led to accusations of Islamophobia from Palestinian students and community leaders, and his speeches have drawn both support and protest.
About Erin Molan
Erin Molan is an Australian television and radio presenter, journalist, and media personality known for her work on Sky News Australia, 2Day FM, and the Nine Network's Wide World of Sports.
She is also recognized as a passionate advocate for Israel and human rights, frequently speaking out on social and political issues, particularly the Gaza conflict and rising antisemitism.
Molan was born on August 24, 1983, and began her media career with a community television station in Canberra before moving to WIN Television as a reporter and presenter.
In 2010, she joined the Nine Network in Sydney, becoming a regular on The NRL Footy Show in 2012, primarily as a roving reporter and for the "League of their Own" segment.
From 2019, she also hosted the secondary broadcast for Channel 9Gem of the Australian Open tennis tournament.
She then joined Sky News, hosting her self-titled primetime show, "Erin," and is also a radio presenter known for her sharp wit and storytelling.
Erin is now an independent journalist (in the true sense of the word, unlike the so-called MSM reporters who have an agenda and narrative they persistently and vainly defend) and has never let her sensitivity to the many topics she covers dominate the stories she reports.
Molan also hosts "The Erin Molan Show" on the Salem Network, YouTube, and as a podcast.
She was previously a columnist for The Daily Telegraph in Sydney.
Molan has gained significant attention for her outspoken support of Israel and Jewish communities worldwide.
She has publicly condemned Hamas since the October 7, 2023, attacks and has reported from Israel on the conflict.
Her broadcasts have earned her a reputation as a steadfast supporter of the Jewish people and a leading voice against antisemitism.
She is scheduled to speak at the Global Conference for Israel, hosted by Jewish National Fund-USA, in October 2025.
In August 2025, Molan participated in a silent counter-protest in Sydney for hostages in Gaza, holding a sign that read, "The enemy of humanity is Hamas," alongside three friends.
She has also voiced concerns about rising antisemitism in Australia, including alleged Iranian-backed firebomb attacks on Jewish institutions, and criticized the Australian government's plans to recognize a Palestinian state, calling it a "moral failure".
Molan was reportedly dismissed from Sky News Australia in 2024, with some observers attributing her departure to her pro-Israel stance.
