Butker Is Right, Women Have Been Duped Into Sacrificing Womanhood For The Workplace
by Brianna Lyman, The Federalist (EXCERPT) [UPDATED 2024-05-17 10:04 am]
Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker is being dragged for stating during a 2023 commencement address that one of the most important titles a woman can have is “homemaker.”
But as a young, college-educated woman myself, I wish someone had told me those things years ago.
I graduated from Fordham University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in International Political Economy — an arduous four-year process that surely would be worth it in the end, I assured myself. But as it turns out, the fruits of my labor — going on national television, meeting high-ranking elected officials, and breaking important news — while fulfilling to a degree, simply do not satiate my growing appetite for the one thing I can’t do independently: have a family.
Throughout my college years, female students were encouraged to develop a sense of hyper-independence.
Get your degree.
Enter the workforce.
Rise to the top.
You don’t need a man!
Our Note
As expected from the Left, attacks all over the place for Butker’s commencement address at Benedictine College.
And they all have the same undercurrent -
“What the hell do you think you are doing Butker? Get back in line and stop telling women what to do!”
Only thing is - Butker is NOT telling what women what to do.
He IS telling them where to find life’s riches that cannot be replaced by a job.
ANY job save one - that of homemaker.
Instead, the Left wants women to be homewreckers - not only of their own homes but homes of others as well.
One only has to open up the latest highly popular Leftist Cosmopolitan magazine to see that much…
Meanwhile, Butker’s NFL shirt, which was pulled almost immediately by the NFL, is flying off the shelves faster than ever before.
The people are voting and the Left is losing it all while they ignore one very critical and very important stat - mental illness among young women has skyrocketed.
We don’t live in a vacuum - when you pull God out, something has to step in…
NOT saying life under God is all roses, it isn’t - at least not until after Christ returns.
