About Lindy Li
Lindy Li, born on December 14, 1990, in Chengdu, Sichuan, China, immigrated to the United States at age five and later moved to Pennsylvania at age 10.
She attended public school in Malvern, Pennsylvania, before transferring to the Agnes Irwin School, a private preparatory school for girls, where she graduated in 2008.
Li attended Princeton University, majoring in philosophy, and became the first woman to serve as class president for all four years of her undergraduate studies.
In 2016, at age twenty-four, Li ran for Congress.
Her campaign committee, LINDY LI FOR CONGRESS, was registered on April 22, 2015, and made over $306,000 in disbursements between January 1, 2017, and December 31, 2018.
Before her transition to conservative politics, Li was a prominent Democratic political commentator and campaign advisor.
She served as a campaign fundraiser and bundler for the Democratic National Committee (DNC), raising funds for both the Joe Biden 2020 and Kamala Harris 2024 presidential campaigns.
Li also held roles as the Women’s Co-Chair and Mid-Atlantic Regional Chair at the DNC and was part of the Asian American outreach team for Biden’s 2020 campaign.
She was a political contributor for NBC News and MSNBC and hosted a weekly TV series called Listening with Lindy Li in the Philadelphia area.
