Too many people compare the wars in Iraq, Syria, or Afghanistan to this war in Gaza.
But this is simply irresponsible and wrong.
Iraq is roughly 450,000 square kilometers and has a population of about 42 million.
Therefore around 95-100 people per square kilometer.
Syria is roughly 187,000 square kilometers with a population of 23 million.
Therefore around 120 people per square kilometer.
Afghanistan is roughly 637,000 square kilometers and has a population of 45 million.
Therefore around 70 people per square kilometer.
Gaza is roughly 360 square kilometers and has a population of 2.2 million.
Therefore around 6100 people per square kilometer.
Each of Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan had masses of civilian refugees able to flee the conflict to neighboring countries.
But Gaza is like a box and after Oct 7 Israel was never going to allow Gazans to just flood into Israel for obvious reasons.
And it’s not Israel’s responsibility to do so irrespective of how much people want to think it is.
But yet nobody ever applied any pressure on Egypt to allow civilians in.
Total silence from the entire Arab world, the UN, and the world at large.
Nobody wanted them.
Yet if there was this fabled genocide, why would not a single country, organization, or world leader demand that Egypt or any other Arab state take in “civilians” during this war?
But there is another thing nobody mentions…
By sheer comparison of size, Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan are like enormous lakes whereas Gaza is like a bathtub in comparison.
Now if you consider that there are 6100 people per square kilometer and with Hamas tunnels being used ONLY by Hamas, that means 2.2 million people are above ground.
Now the fact that, as is claimed, 85000 tonnes of bombs were dropped on Gaza with such a high density of population, it’s the equivalent of dropping a grenade into a bathtub filled with fish.
In a large lake, you’d hard make a dent, but in a bathtub, you’d expect every single fish to be killed.
Yet less than 2% of the population was killed if we take the Hamas and UN propaganda figures of 45000, and of that 45000, at least half are combatants.
Which means less than 1% of the population was killed by 85000 tonnes of bombs dropped on a proverbial bathtub where the population was effectively left as human shields.
When you use common sense, critical thinking, and even an ounce of logic, you realize that this overwhelmingly proves that Israel not only took more care to avoid civilian casualties than any other army in history, but that there was absolutely no indiscriminate bombing, no genocide, and that the operation in Gaza was infinitely by scale more precision targeted against terrorists than even the pager operation in Lebanon.
When you have even a dot of understanding warfare, and more importantly, an understanding of facts and truth, you will realize that Israel has set the benchmark for urban warfare as the most successful, precise, and civilian-friendly operation in human warfare history.
No other military could even remotely compare to the care taken by Israel to avoid civilian casualties.
The numbers show it.
The facts prove it.
And all the propaganda in the world cannot change that reality.
